Laser or GPS

Laser and GPS (global positioning system) are the two options for defining distances on a golf course

A laser provides the user with the exact distance to the pin, it does not give any information about the pin location.

GPS distance

GPS units work from google maps or ground maps. They provide data about the distance to hazards and features on a hole as well as measurements to the front middle and back of the green

What should I choose?

Choosing is down to individual preferences but here are some thoughts.

If you want a convenient and quick solution and play mainly at your home club then a simple GPS is s good solution.

If you want to know exact pin positions then you should use both.

If you want to make up your own mind then come and see us and borrow equipment before you decide.
